Body Mapping(sm) is the future of body analysis for the Spa Professional, developed by the International Dermal Institute exclusively for Dermalogica. Providing a comprehensive system with which to assess the client's skin and body concerns, Body Mapping(sm) allows the Skin or Body Therapist to design the ultimate Body Treatment that addresses all the client's needs.

The Body Mapping(sm) procedure gives an objective view of changes to skin and body function along with an insight into the probable causes. This enables the Therapist to offer effective and honest treatment advice.

By dividing the body into fourteen zones the Skin Therapist can assess each individual area and ask specific targeted questions that will help reveal essential information. Body Mapping(sm) will not only set the Skin Therapist apart professionally, but provides an effective tool to assist in linking the treatment to lifestyle advice and product use.

In order to body map effectively, the Skin Therapist requires an in depth knowledge of the skin and body concerns that the client may present. Body concerns including fluid retention, toxic accumulation, circulatory changes and skin conditions such as keratosis pilaris and psoriasis are discussed alongside the effects of stress.

Body Mapping is performed with body brushing prior to every spa treatment.

Exfoliating Body Scrub - 45 mins............Ł45

Treatment begins with a body mapping consultation where the therapist will analyse the various zones of the body and address the client's concerns or needs. The ultimate buffing cloth is used with a creamy, light foaming body scrub to remove dead, dulling cells. This treatment stimulates cell renewal and helps to energise the skin plus customised essential oils help to invigorate the senses and relax stressed muscles. The body hydrating cream having a natural hydroxy acid complex gently exfoliates the skin, leaving it toned and smooth. This is a gentle, yet invigorating cleansing treatment leaving the skin smooth, polished, and energised.

Hydro-mineral salt scrub 45 mins............Ł45

This is the ideal pre-treatment scrub because it smoothes away dulling debris while relaxing the client, preparing the body for the wrap to come. Also a must-have prior to a solar bronzing treatment. Depending on your clients’ needs, you can customise the treatment with either Toxin Relief Treatment Oil or Stress Relief Treatment Oil.

Smooth away dulling surface debris while restoring vital nutrients to tired skin. A Hydro-Active Mineral Salt Scrub, customised with aromatherapy essential oils, will help to smooth skin, relax stressed muscles and soothe the senses. The perfect complement to our selection of wraps or before a Solar Bronzing Treatment.

Body therapy hydro-pack treatment - 60 mins............Ł75

The Body Therapy Hydro Pack is perfect for all clients, especially those suffering from dry, dehydrated skin and mild exposure. It delivers deep-hydration in its cooling gel form and is safe for even the most sensitive skin.

An ultra-soothing, hydrating treatment personalised with aromatherapy oils. A natural, Aloe-based pack is swaddled in a thermal wrap to infuse the skin with moisture. Ideal for sun-exposed skin.

Enzymatic sea mud pack treatment - 60 mins............Ł75

A deeply-detoxifying wrap that helps to add minerals to the body. A must for all clients living a hectic lifestyle in polluted environments.

Detoxify, exfoliate and nourish your body with a purifying seaweed and mineral mud poultice sealed in a warm, relaxing wrap. Infused with aromatic botanical extracts and fruit enzymes, this treatment will leave your skin smooth and supple.
